Item description: * See scan - MINT / PROOF condition. This is one of the RAREST Bulgarian Royal medals. This STERLING SILVER issue was awarded only to about 30 Ministers - members of the Bulgarian Government, for the Union of Eastern Rumelia and South Bulgaria - thus making the Great Bulgaria. It was issued by Prince Batenberg and was presented before his abdication in 1886. Extremely rare item - only 3 pieces known to exist - the other 2 are in the National Military History Museum and another one in a private collection. However, both of the other 2 pieces are worse quality. This listed medal is in MINT condition in its presentation case.
